First let me proudly say that as a man I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a feminist.

Admittedly, I wasn't always this awesome and open minded. Initially, as a younger man, I found the idea of feminism and equality among the genders disturbing. After all they seemed so into it, how could it possibly be good for us?

Not to suggest that relations between the sexes is some sort of game where everyone should be keeping score. That's just silly. Its a war. They are the enemy. Albeit really really hot enemies with amazing curves, adorable voices, who can do the most amazing things with their tongues....Im getting off topic

So selfishly I was initially opposed to the idea of feminism, and resentful of feminists. However life, as it rarely does, has proven me wrong.

Just as an example. Before feminism, when I took a girl out on a first date, you never really expected much to happen. I mean you bought the dinner, maybe got a peck on the lips or cheek, and her attitude was that you were lucky just to be going out with her.

Post feminism, things couldnt be any more different. Now not only can you expect sex, but they actually apologize when they don't. Usually something along the lines of "Would you be mad if we didnt do anything, I'd like to get to know you better first....how about a bj instead, please dont be angry, I really like you"

What can you say to that if youre a gentleman? "Ill try not to be angry, but having already disappointed me once,youre kind of on thin ice"

But feminism isnt just about sex. Its about a lot of other important things as well. For example, now they are not only willing, but insistent on paying the check. I have to say I was initially worried of a world in which women didnt want to cook lol. Its stupid I know. But for most guys having to pay to eat out ervery night was a scary thought. My fears were misguided though since it turns out they were more than willing to pay instead.

Yet we still have a ways to go. Among other things a distressing pay disaprity between men and women.I mean honestly, I could be eating a lot better than I am
